Mailing list members are users that have subscribed to a certain mailing list to get periodic emails, such as weekly newsletters. If the mailing list management software program that is used to administer the list allows it, you can also authorize mailing list members manually, but in this case such emails may be accepted as unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Ordinarily, these members can unsubscribe from a mailing list by clicking a link in the email messages they receive, or you, being the mailing list administrator, can delete them manually if they request this or in case you reach the decision that some of the members should not be part of the list any longer. Each member will see only their address in the "To" section of the messages they get, but not the addresses of the rest of the members of the mailing list.
Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you order a semi-dedicated server through our company and you set up electronic mailing lists through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you’ll be able to manage all your subscribers without any efforts. We provide one of the most widely used mailing list management software programs called Majordomo. It will permit you to view all your subscribers, to authorize new or to delete existing ones by sending an email to the mailing list’s administrative email address, so you can administer everything without even needing to log into your Control Panel. Needless to say, only you, as the mailing list administrator, will be able to achieve that. New mailing list subscribers have to confirm their subscription, so the email messages that you send will be legitimate and you won’t need to worry about messages being reported as spam. We also have a collection of how-to articles where you can find more info about how to administer the list.
